Jb's Pour House - Hermitage

My family and I were traveling home from Nashville and wanted a non-chain restaurant to stop and enjoy. While this is definitely a local favorite, we were disappointed. I ordered a BBQ chicken wrap and received a chicken wrap sans BBQ. My husband orderedthe sliders and was shocked by the amount of meat on the brisket- a sad two pieces that looked like bacon. The server said shewould bring back more meat for him and bbq sauce for me but it took at least 10 minutes so our food was cold by the time wecould eat. Also, for a 'pour house ', why aren 't there any local brews available? I do want to add that the server was verysweet and tried her best, and seemed overwhelmed.

Pretty solid lunch spot. The traditional wings were excellent cooked really well and delicious sauces (I had lemon pepper honey BBQ). The fried pickles were a large portion and excellent. The prices were reasonable. Service was pretty good we werechecked in with regularly and drinks were maintained well. Environment was decent. It would probably be a good place to watch agame.

Typical bar food. Large beer selection. Solid spot for trivia and unhealthy food!

Kuddos. Food is great!! Well worth the money and left overs for two days. Owner holds good to his word had a small problem with seating for B-Day party but they made it right. Great atmosphere and kid friendly plus smoking outside if anyone would like after cold beer at bar.

Good Pub, Good Service. JB's is a typical bar with mostly typical bar food that's well executed. They also have a large selection of draft beer (always a hit with me with seasonal adjustments. Happy hour nocks $1 off of a draft. I like the wings, their hot sauce won't offend you and for my taste, they could kick it up a little. The Chicken Philly sandwich is a good twist. Fresh po-boy roll, good peppers. Try it with the chipotle mayo on the side and you'll like it better. That sauce finishes with a good kick. Skip the regular fries (standard food service crinkle cut and spend the little extra for their Sweet Potato Fries. Real good. Our service was very good. (It wasn't too busy, but we got good attentive not obtrusive service. It's a pleasure to leave a good tip to a good server. We'll be back for a brew and pub grub soon.
