Zigzag Scallop Waterside Grille

I've tried several dishes from this menu, and I have yet to have a bad meal. The service is exceptional—we absolutely love Krystyna, Joseph, Andi, and Gale, who always take great care of us. The shrimp dishes are the best we've had in the area, and the lime cakes and mozzarella fritters are unbeatable. I usually opt for the fish or chicken tacos, but on special occasions, I indulge in the scallops served on a bed of pineapple coconut rice—delicious! This is by far our favorite place to eat at Hernando Beach, and we bring friends and family whenever we can because it's always a hit. I definitely recommend making reservations in advance, especially during peak times like weekends and evenings. The outdoor seating is wonderful when the weather cooperates (though it's covered for shade and rain). They have live music on the terrace on Thursday and Friday nights, and the margaritas are fantastic at just $4 each, every day. Their special holiday menus are also great!

The $4 margaritas are fantastic! The sangria was good too. My husband ordered the crab cakes and absolutely loved them. I had the roasted dish and enjoyed it as well. The coconut pineapple was delightful. We will definitely be back very often!

This is my husband, and this is our second time at Zigzag Scallops, and it was just as delicious as the first. We drove half an hour to come here for lunch. We had the shrimp appetizer, salad, and taco entrees, followed by the coffee mousse dessert. Joseph was our waiter, and he was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor. We won't wait six months for our next visit!

The staff is great, the food is excellent!! A definitive stop in Hernando Beach!!

Phenomenal service Kendra. They were short staffed and she was running like crazy, but continued with great service and making you feel like you were her #1 customer. Food was fantastic , sitting by the water and watching the shrimp boats getting ready to head out was delightful. We Highly recommend this place. Come on by and enjoy like we did.
