Bidra med feedbackOkay, I was born in El Salvadoran and moved here when I was young so when I first moved, my family wanted to fill the void that the delicious food back home has left. We tried Doña azucena, El Pueblo, two amigos and a LOT more looking for some food thatwould trigger the nostalgia and none them did it. I moved to Reston and I found Pupusas express and I knew I had to tryit. These pupusas checked all the boxes, from the right amount of masa, to the texture, the filling, El curtido, la salsa detomate. You can definitely tell that the people who run this restaurant and the amazing cooks put so much love and care intowhat they do. I am so glad we live within the delivery radius!
Food was good, but I had a bad experience with the service. I came in to pick up my online order and was the only one waiting at the counter. After a couple of minutes, a waiter saw me and headed behind the counter. Instead of helping me grab my order, hehelped the person that walked in after me, even though he saw me standing there first.... Although the food is good, I won't begoing back.
The ceviche is great, but there was a bit too much lime for my taste, which was a bummer because the ingredients were fresh and finely prepped (way too much lime). The plantains were supposed to be fried which I just assumed meant crispy. I’m not a fan of the soggy. The food was great quality, but please ease up on the lime.
Diamond in the ruff. Whole fried fish for $12. I enjoyed the tacos Salvadores.with streak for $10 very good value and high quality food. I will be coming back to mix up the mid week dinner plan with a good deal and new cuisine
The last time I had pupusas revuelta was in 2015. I've missed them. The food was SO delicious !!!! I had tres leches cake for dessert. The staff was more than friendly. I would live to eat here again next time I visit this area of Virginia.
