Bistro The Walk - Hertsmere

1. visit (but certainly not the last! 10 of us (inc 2 children had a nice evening here for a late birthday. very warm, friendly welcome (by owners? restaurant was clean, comfortable, warm and had a relaxed atmosphere. children's menus were made before children (not to ask if they were brot oliven were a nice note and enjoyed before eating arrived. the meals were all a good size, with lots of fresh crunchy salad, the homemade chili sauce was the best we ever tasted, and went perfectly with the mixed grill. the menu was varied and brought back many memories of Cypriot, Greek celebrations. it is worth booking a table to avoid disappointment, as it was quite full on Saturday night. can't wait to go back!

A few days ago with my family passed a Sunday afternoon! the restaurant was quiet around midday, but at 2 o'clock heaving. we all enjoyed our meal, but felt that they might have had some more vegan options (all rice contains butter). good selection of beer available. I'm so happy.

Eating is of great quality, really delicious and fresh. there is a good selection of vegetarian and vegan foods, but many traditional hearty meat dishes also. the portions are generous and the prices are very fair. the service is always good and the owner is a wonderful host. I cannot recommend this restaurant very much.

Enjoyed a very generous and delicious Bistro Special Mixed Grill Platter. So much food we couldn't finish it. Very attentive service and all in a social distancing safe environment. Highly recommended..!
