Bistro 127 - Hickory

Our waitress, Kimberly, was amazing! She suggested some great appetizers and meals, and we loved every one of her recommendations. This was our first visit, and we definitely plan to return. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting! Thank you, Kimberly, for making us feel so welcome!

When my meal arrived, I was delighted to find a beautifully moist yet flaky croissant that exceeded my expectations. It was so impressive that my aunt decided to order a croissant as a side after seeing my dish. The only downside was that they were closed on Sunday, leaving me wishing I could enjoy that meal again the next day. The bacon was perfectly cooked—crispy but not too hard—making it a pleasant addition to the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic breakfast!

This place is simply amazing! I had breakfast here, and the service was outstanding. I ordered the corned beef hash, which featured sliced corned beef sautéed with home fries, while my friend enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were incredible! They offer a spicy Chipotle maple syrup that is absolutely delicious. Whenever I'm in the area, I will definitely return to try more of their meals.

I was searching for restaurants with gluten free menu options as I recently found out that i had an intolerance to gluten. Bistro 127 had high ratings and great reviews so my husband and I decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed!The restaurant itself is beautiful and comfortable and the wait staff was especially kind and accommodating. Our waitress spenta considerable amount of time explaining what menu options I had and recommended a great meal for me. There were only a handfulof entrees/appetizers that could not be prepared as gluten free. Our meal was so delicious!! I was highly impressed with theservice and the food. This restaurant is one of our favorites!

Placed an order the morning of, told them what time I’d be there to pick it up that afternoon. Arrived there to pick it up, and it hadn’t even been started. I overheard whom may have been the “manager” scolding the cook for not having my order ready, which apart of me could appreciate; however, as the potential manager, he could have came to me directly and spoke directly to me as well, followed by an apology and asked if I would’ve liked something else in place of my order not being ready my time/gas being wasted. I also felt a little bad for the cook, because I also overheard him say how busy he had been forgot, plus it looked like he had been the only one cooking, so I can understand if that was the case.Again, very unprofessional, nothing offered to me for not only wasting my time gas, but not even having my order ready. Will NEVER order from this POS place again.
