East Coast Wings Grill - Hickory

The front desk person was great and timely. I got my food in a pretty decent time. The only thing I had a problem with was it was way too much seasoning on my lemon pepper wings. I'll just have to get plain wings when I go back, because the wings were good.

The BEST Philly steak I've had in years! I cannot find this anywhere in the Midwest so when I went to visit my family in NC, my brother took us to this place and it did not disappoint!! Fries were crisp and tasty too but this sandwich was everything I hoped for and exceeded expectations. It will become a tradition when I visit my family again. The bathroom could be better maintained. The atmosphere was nice and dining areas looked remodeled but the bathroom felt forgotten. Hard to describe. The kids loved their burgers too, but it's the Philly I'm here to rave about lol

We placed a timed order for over an hour and a half later. The food was cold and seemed like it had been made when I placed the order and not for the intended time. The boneless wings were cold and hard and had NO sauce on them. The fried pickles literally ate a hole in the Styrofoam (seems toxic to me) and we didn't notice until we ate half the pickles and saw the side of the container with holes BURNED into it. Its definitely going to be awhile before I come back and I am definitely calling corporate in the morning. Thats not ok.

I liked the atmosphere before they renovated. The staff is always hit or miss, but the food is usually pretty good. It's not the best wing place but they have a lot of good wing flavors.

My biggest pet peeve is feathers on chicken wings. ECW used to good about it but have really been slacking as of recent. And it's not just a one-off. It's like every other wing Who wants my feathered wings? Because I ain't eating them.
