Horribly thin and no sauce on the pizza. don't know how you could even call it pizza. i understand there's a chicago style option, but their base pizza basically being a flatbread with rubbery cheese on it is just a tragedy Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1

Normally, our experiences at Village Inn are pretty good. Our most recent experience was a little disappointing. We called in an order to pick up. On arrival, several staff made eye contact, but no one came to the counter. After a couple minutes, one person stopped what he was doing to see what I needed. He was friendly, but must have been new because he didn 't ring up our order correctly at first. Once I got home with our meal, i discovered soggy, lightly baked crust that stuck to the bottom of the box. Maybe it was an off night. It wasn 't as good as usual. Hopefully next time will be better, because I prefer Village in over the new pizza place.

I'm going to give this place 5 stars. The pizza, may not look all that, but it's really good. The salad bar, is what you'd expect. Just one suggestion to the restaurant: Make sure you keep your pasta stirred. Don't let it sit in water like that, it makes the pasta watery in some spots, and hard on the outside. Doesn't make for very good spaghetti. Other than that, give this place a try. It'll be worth it. The staff, for being a younger crowd, are actually really cool. Pizzas come out quick, and hot.
