Crazy good! Smoked chicken salad on Jalapeno bread was amazing. This place alone is worth visiting from your way to Hico. The owners are proud of what they do. Friendly and charming. You have to try.

Fantastic stop! The jalapeño bread on my sandwich was outstanding. I finished it off with an ice cream cone. It was the perfect lunch!

I discovered a fantastic little eatery in Hico, TX, and it’s definitely worth the trip! We tried the smoked turkey melt on jalapeño bread, along with a side of red potato salad and pasta salad. We also ordered the smoked chicken salad on sourdough, served with the same sides. Both dishes were incredibly delicious and served in generous portions! They offer Dublin drinks too, and we enjoyed the Dublin root beer. The staff was wonderful; they greeted us with a smile and were very welcoming. The restaurant was impressively clean, and I noticed the staff wore gloves while preparing our meals, which I really appreciated. If you're ever passing through on Highway 67, I highly recommend stopping by for a bite!

This is the route to Fredericksburg. I was very impressed by the friendly staff. The sandwiches are fantastic! Make sure to try the JALAPENO sourdough bread. I will definitely return if I find myself in Hico again.
