Bidra med feedbackThe food and service here was absolutely amazing!! Went back two days in a row just so I could enjoy breakfast and lunch. Was pleasantly surprised at the pricing, was comparable, if not cheaper than other places in town. Truly my only regret is that I did not go in there sooner. ??Kid-friendliness: Haven’t taken my littler kids there yet but judging on the vibe, I definitely will and they do have a children’s menu.
I’ve been a few times and the food was amazing each time! The pecan pie is the best and I make sure to bring a couple home with us!
An interesting dining experience in this unique little dining car. It is nicely decorated, has a warm atmosphere and has comfortable enough seating. The young lady who was our server was fantastic, very friendly, smiley and attentive, nice to see someone enjoying what they do. We ordered the traditional breakfast, waffles and frenchtoast. The traditional breakfast was of a good portion and tasted good. The frenchtoast was two tiny, skinny pieces, they tasted fine but there was not much to them. There were two waffles, they came with whipped cream and syrup on the side, which I prefer instead of it being pre-poured. The Waffles tasted fine but were not light and fluffy like traditional waffles. They were of a heavier consistency with more resemblance to a cake doughnut, which is not to my liking. Prices were good. All in all, we had a good experience and will return to sample different items in the menu.
You will be immersed in the past enjoying an excellent brunch. I suggest to go to the museum beside the restaurant before your brunch and live a real connection with the history and legacy of High
This is one of my favorite place when I have visited High River. The food are so good and the atmosphere transport you to 1900's.
