Beelow's Highland Park

The food at this restaurant lacked flavor and was significantly overpriced. It appears that the quality is declining.

The food was good, but our server seemed to overlook us. Three tables that arrived after us received their drinks and appetizers before we received our drinks (even though we had already ordered). Once we finally received our drinks, we had to wait for the server to make other drink deliveries before we could place our order. He mentioned he would be back in 10 minutes. I have dined here before and the service and food were excellent, so I assume everyone has an off night. I will definitely return.

Overall, everything was good at the restaurant. The service was great, with the exception of one thing - the waitress was extremely hyper. Their fast movements were off-putting, but the service was always timely.

Mediocre visit. It was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Went before a movie; 2 cheeseburgers w/ everything no drinks. Also split a wedge which was tasty but you could tell it had been sitting in the frig for a while bc the lettuce endcuts were brown. Blue cheese salad dressing very good. Burgers were extremely bland. Just no flavor in the beef there were no char marks that IMO adds flavor what makes the meat tastier. Burgers sat on a ciabatta roll that was too big. Disappointed bc a good way to tell if a restaurant is special or not is how they cook a simple hamburger—which is pretty hard to mess up.

Excellent, but some of the staff was unprofessional and abrasive. Our particular server was very good, but one server was noisy and abrasive, and the hostess was dressed too casually.
