Torchy's Tacos - Highland Village

I've been meaning to write a review for Torchy's for a while, because I've been here several times and I love their many creative tacos, and their queso mixed with guacamole. Hopefully I can get the chance to come back and try them all!

Tried a bunch of tacos and all were pretty darn good so I think any choice it's a safe choice. Do beware of hot peppers if you're not into that. I will definitely will be back for their barbacoa.

Found metal in my take out order. Happy I didn’t swallow it! I’ll never eat here again. My last few visits have been absolutely awful.

Not typically a fan of Torchy’s. Typical over-hyped Austin pretension. The tacos are ok but a bit pricey. The airstream salad though; that was very good. Large enough portion for a dinner entree but not killer on calories. The ingredients were all fresh and worked well together. My wife and her friends love this place so I’m stuck going here often. Much less of a chore now that I’ve tried the salad.

Usually love going here. Took my wife and kid to eat quick dinner around 630 on friday night. Waited 30 min for food. Went to counter, was told they were checking on it. In the mean time, 5 people that cane after us got served. Waited an additional 15 minutes. Finally went to counter and got a refund. There was no apology, no care, didn't even look up or say a word. Just handed me the refund receipt.
