Jeni's Ugly Pies - Highland

I've been a fan of Jeni's Ugly Markets cake since their early days at the Farmer's Market. Their treats always sell out quickly, so I make sure to get there early! Our end-of-year employee party is coming up, and I've been a teacher since 2014. We're all excited about their amazing salads with homemade dressing, the delicious meatballs that my daughter can't get enough of, and the kartoffelsalat that I love! And of course, we can't forget their famous killer key lime cake. Jeni and her staff infuse so much love into their food! There’s a great reason I’m willing to drive 30 miles just to buy a cake or pick up some cookies or chicken pot pie! Thank you, Jeni and team, for everything you do!

The key lime cake is the best I have eaten since in the keys. Jeni’s is family owned and operated and the owner and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. I also love that they support another family business by wearing their pints eis to buy. jenis is our families going on cake!

Hey Joe K! I’m guessing that Kroger is as classy as you get huh? Jeni’s food is the the best. When you don’t understand all of the 5 star reviews, the problem is not with them. It’s with you. Get a life a hole!

Jeni’s is the best, we love their pies and the staff always look like they’re having so much fun. A great, local, family owned business to support!

I really don't understand all the 5 on the reviews. The two I gave was generous. I had a banana cream pie a while back and it was ok. Not great but ok. Today I purchased a blueberry pie. As my wife commented as she ate it I think the Kroger pie is better . I had to agree with her especially considering that I paid 16 for this pie. The filing was nothing special and the crust was not flaky as I would expect it. It was hard and tasteless. This store only sells pies. You would think they would be outstanding. There is another pie company in SE Michigan that only does pies. Now those are great. Unfortunately there isn't one in the Milford area. Will not be going back. Kroger down the street is cheaper and just as bad.
