Vinny's Italian Grill - Hillsborough

I haven't dined here in a while due to the way the owner treats some of my good friends so poorly. In my last few visits, the service was lackluster, and our waiter acted disinterested and was outright rude. The food was adequately prepared, but I won’t be returning.

Delicious pizza! We just finished our meal and it was excellent. The pick-up situation did cause some minor traffic issues, which could use some improvement.

Joe is the owner, as he mentioned. I waited patiently for a busy night to pick up my takeout. When I got home and my wife opened the bag, we realized that we received two dishes that we hadn’t ordered and were missing two others. Instead of resolving the issue properly, Joe questioned my wife about wanting a free meal when she went back to confront him with the incorrect order. He was quite rude and dismissive. His attitude towards women is concerning, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant feels unhealthy, especially for young female employees.

Had BBQ Buffalo wings and grilled chicken salad. Service and food were excellent. This is one of the best places in Hillsborough for a great sit down menu. Also the Red Oak Amber loved on design!

We visited Vinny?s last night for dinner. We found the tables were spaced safely apart and didn?t feel crowded. The menu had plenty of choices and everyone ordered something different. We started with drinks and that came with a basket of garlic bread. I ordered a steak and cheese while others ordered pasta. The food came out hot and I was impressed how generous the pasta dishes where. Everyone enjoyed their meal and they also had take home. My steak and cheese was tasty, but I was disappointed on the tiny serving of steak hidden under a large amount of lettuce. I will stay away from the sandwiches next time and go for the pasta.
