Hillsdale Filling Station Deli

While browsing the antique shops in Allan, Michigan, I stumbled upon this charming little restaurant. I had the chicken salad on rye, and it was incredibly delicious.

I was truly impressed with this delightful little deli that just opened today to cater to the fall color train from Indiana. I ordered a lettuce wrap, while my husband went for a full sub. He commented that the bread was outstanding. This place allows you to customize your toppings, and I highly recommend adding the bacon—it's absolutely delicious! Just a heads up, the photo only shows half of the sandwich because I couldn’t snap a pic before my husband dug in!

I had an amazing experience at Hillsdale Filling Station! This deli offers a great variety of options, particularly when it comes to soups, salads, and sandwiches. I chose the grilled panini with turkey, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, and garlic mayo, and it was outstanding. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the mayo really stood out. To top it off, the price for the sandwich and chips was under $9.00, which I think is a fantastic deal. The interior of the place was clean and welcoming, and the staff was sharp and provided quick service. I will definitely be back for more delicious meals. I highly recommend it!

We tried the lunch special featuring pork barbecue, and it was absolutely delicious! It’s definitely a great value for the price.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our chef was incredibly patient with us (we had a 5-year-old and a 12-month-old in tow). We'll definitely be back for another meal soon! Supporting local businesses is worth every star!
