The Porch Southern Kitchen

I arrived at the bar and was given a food menu right away, but not a drink menu initially. Eventually, the bartender fixed this and I ordered a canned beer. The restaurant offers a beer flight on the menu, but has a limited selection of beers on tap. It seems like cocktails are the specialty here. I ordered a brisket sandwich, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. The sandwich itself was good, but unfortunately, my fries were served cold. I was surprised since I was sitting at the bar. They turned out to be old. There was live music playing, which was a nice touch, but the construction in the area affected the view and the atmosphere lacked the charm of fairy lights. The Porch has potential, but I will be dining elsewhere today.
