El Metate - Hixson

Food is always great, and the place is always clean and pleasant to visit. The only problem is that sometimes, the service can be a little off. We had someone forget to bring us a dip twice, and another time, our waiter forgot about us after dropping off our meals. With that said, you'll notice that we're still going back. The food is good enough to put up with the occasional mistake.

Must have had a different cook last vist normally great shrimp fajitas but shrimp was a little tough this go around. Our guests from out of state enjoyed the selections of enchiladas and a combo meal. Still the best Mexican this side of the river.

I love going here to Eat! We have been coming here for years. I love how they remember you. Vegetarian options: We are Vegetarian and we always get the Taco salad but they are always willing to customize other items for us and never charge extra. Kid-friendliness: They allow us to customize things for our little one’s meals.

Plain Jane Mexican restaurant. Initial service was quick but took 15 minutes to get the bill.

I was treating my mom out for drinks and she suggested we come here and I'm glade she did I went to another restaurant earlier and wasn't happy but I came here and was very satisfied food was on point service on point and drinks was amazing
