The sweet tea was just the way I enjoy it—perfectly sweet! The menu offers a range of classic barbecue dishes, and we ultimately chose the BBQ Pork Plate. After all, when a place is called Pig Out, it’s essential to sample the pork. Each plate comes with a choice of two sides. I selected the traditional potato salad and coleslaw, while my husband, Mr. Grey, went for baked beans and fried okra. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were just right—not too overwhelming but still generous. My husband particularly relished his beans and okra, and my potato salad and coleslaw were spot on. The pulled pork was smoky and incredibly tasty, showcasing a lovely smoke ring along with a delightful mix of tender meat and crispy, smoky bits. Personally, I tend to forgo sauce on my meat, so I really appreciate the natural flavor, and this did not disappoint. My husband tried the hot sauce and found it to be flavorful with a nice kick—not too intense. By the end of the meal, we were both quite full, yet I couldn't shake the desire to try the cheesecake in a jar. I have a fondness for desserts in jars, which I frequently make for my food blog, Sidewalk Shoes. We will certainly be returning, and I will make it a point to indulge in the desserts next time!
The customer service was outstandingly poor. I left before placing my order because the girl at the counter was extremely rude.
