Spanglish Modern Mexican - Hixson

I hate to leave bad reveiws. But here goes..The food looked really good online and in person. There were a lot of good reviews so I wanted to give this place a try. The birria tacos and soup had no taste. The queso dip was watery and not the best. The tortilla chips were too hard. The fajitas were dry and bland. Add seasoning please. Meat dishes had a lot of sitting oil in them. My quesadilla had so much oil on the bottom. The rice and French fries were good. We spent over $55 on 2 people to try different foods on the menu. We wont be back.

Someone recently reccomended this restaurant as the place to go for authentic Mexican food. Unless you know where it is you will pass it by because of the signage but it is well worth the effort to find this hidden treasure! Every dish our party ordered was outstanding. All the ingredients were so fresh and honestly it's the best Mexican food I've had in Chattanooga. I highly recommend the Flautas and the queso and guacamole were also standouts. I would give them 5 stars except they seemed to be understaffed. Even so, we were served with a smile. If you love authentic Mexican food go here!

The first time tried and was very satisfied. The elephant was absolutely amazing. All flavors on all dishes were delicious, but the corn was the best for me. Good prices and service. The whole family enjoyed it.

An employee recommended. This is not your typical chain restaurant. I don't understand why this restaurant doesn't have a line out. I suppose. I checked at least a hundred restaurants. The food here is absolutely amazing. For the first time, I ordered two entrees and one appetizer. Beef birria quesadillas, a lamb birria taco, tamales and naturally chorizo queso. I finished everything before me. My waitress was super sweet and very attentive. Sad that I've only lived a few miles from here for years and now had the chance to try. Honestly didn't know it was here. From the road and not easy to see. If you like this kind of food, it's a must try. Definitely, this place will put on my list. Links extremely satisfied.

If Google had the option for someone to leave a 6 star review once per year... this restaurant would get my star. The best Mexican food in Hixson without question. Staff is always on point and the environment is exactly what you would want while enjoying an authentic meal. Occasionally will order take out and the meal is always nicely packed with a personal note thanking you for your business. If you haven't been, I highly recommend.
