Bidra med feedbackFantastic place, the burger, and the Philly steak sandwich was super delicious, not to mention their incredible selection of hot sauces. The place was warm and cozy, and the outdoor area with a cute school bus you can sit in, would definitely want to revisit.
Can’t speak much about the night life vibe here as we visited during the day to try out the burgers. The decor was very casual and offered a variety of different nooks and crannies to enjoy your stay, including a re-fitted, out of commission bus. We sat on couches near their indoor fireplace, which was perfect for the cold day. We ordered a beef patty burger and a Philly cheese steak. They were both great, but the philly cheese steak was especially good. Took me back to when I was young and visited philly! They also offer a large variety of standard and spicy sauces, including my favourite, Franks would definitely re visit next time I’m in Hobart.
I always return to Preachers when in Hobart. Tasting beers and playing uno with mates under the heaters and in the bus was super cute the pork belly loaded fries and the deep fried cauliflower are pretty pretty pretty good. Lovely staff open fires inside.. and the vegie burger is killer. Go here.
I went for drinks and card games evening to celebrate friends birthday. <br/ <br/ The place had a homely feel (probably converted from a town house to a cool pub) and the staff was really friendly and chilled out.<br/ <br/ I ordered Raspberry Sparkling Drink (non-alcoholic) along with battered fries and in house spicy nuts.<br/ <br/ 5 points because of the staff, place and the atmosphere.
From the moment you walk in, you are hit with the perfect chill vibes of battery point. Great range of drinks, paired with a better knowledge of the suppliers by the staff. Happy with the food. My wife and I ordered ‘the cheese’ and ‘ the beef’. Bursting with flavours helped by the local mustard (the bun could be mildly softer for my liking) the beer battered chips were as crisp as a Tassie morning. Great place for a low key lunch, or a night of fine drinking.
