Bidra med feedbackNo idea where all the good reviews are coming from. Absolutely bland and nothing authentic at all. Ordered vegan pho, spicy vegan pho, avocado tofu rice paper rolls, tofu banh mi and spring roll salad. The phos were the worst we've ever eaten. Bland broth, overcooked noodles, vegetables all cut huge (make them a small bite size! , so much cauliflower it was overwhelming, no fresh herbs that you would expect, wasn't served with bean shoots or a lemon wedge. We got home to eat and had to add 2-minute noodle flavour powder to make them edible (we're on holiday so had limited options . The worst pho ever. The rice paper rolls were similarly bland. Literally zero fresh herbs in them, a boring peanut sauce to dip them. Absolutely forgettable. We haven't gotten to the banh mi or spring roll salad. Will update later. To be honest I'm dreading eating them now... Would never go back. The worst Vietnamese we've eaten anywhere. Updated from previous review on 2023-11-03
Very average vegan pho. I ordered takeaway and the pho is pretty meh. It also only had 4 tiny pieces of tofu
Frankly Hobart food outlets can say they serve vegan if they have lettuce, and many sites just list them because they need vendors. I loved this place!!! Vietnamese clean food. Reliable, looked after me, and the only place I could find that would serve basic (tasty) Asian soup. I researched, tracked brown, and visited so many places and they failed. I needed clean, vegetable soup, I requested no noodle because this would be super filling. I frequented here nearly every week, sometimes nightly for 18months. This was my go to for dinner because I didn't want the carbs, no tofu, and needed hydration that was tasty without fillers. The price was also spot on for me. Sure the place carves up loads of meat dishes, like most do to survive in a small town so for value, taste, health this is my affordable nightly staple.
Not the best pho I’ve ever had but it’s hard to find it vegan so that was exciting! The rice paper rolls were dope though
