Bidra med feedbackHad an excellent time last weekend, also with how busy they were, waiting was not as much longer than expected. All staff were super friendly, costs were fair, atmosphere was the perfect hit between imagination and casual. Can't believe I grew up in Hockessin and never knew these guys were here. Come on!
Love, love, this restaurant. Had the pumpkin mushroom soup that sounds weird but excellent. I had the short rib for dinner and my wife had the grilled eggplant. The short rib was very delicate and tasty. The part was good too. My wife loved the grilled eggplant. Alcoholic drinks were very good. The service was a little slow. I think they were a little occupied.
Amazing! I had stuffed mushrooms (stuffed with crab imperial) only 4, but they were outstanding. I also had beet goat cheese salad which was exceptional. The atmosphere is lovely. Staff were friendly and courteous. I had a wonderful experience.
We decided to visit on a whim, without a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. We ordered the New York Strip Special and the Lamb, followed by the crème brûlée for dessert. The food was outstanding—the meat was cooked to perfection and the dessert was exquisite. The service was a bit slow, likely due to a shortage of staff, which seems to be a common issue these days. Despite that, we will definitely be back.
My best culinary experience in Hockessin. I can't give enough praise: the service deserves a 10-star rating, and the dishes were flawlessly prepared. I was particularly enchanted by the pumpkin mushroom soup, the wedge salad, and the lemon drop martini.
