Lilja Guesthouse - Hofn

I had a soy schnitzel dish and it was very good! I was surprised to find more options on the menu, such as vegan soup and dessert! The restaurant is cozy and welcoming and it is located in an area with a view of the glacier!

I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars! My husband and I, who are vegan, were traveling the ring road and stumbled upon this gem. We both enjoyed the vegan schnitzel with salad and fries, and shared the vegan apple cake for dessert. It was fantastic. The view from our window table was lovely.

The restaurant is located 30 km from Höfn. The dining room is nothing fancy, but the owners are friendly and the food tastes delicious. If you ask, the waiter can explain which items on the menu are vegan or can be made vegan.

Eu comi schnitzel de soja e foi muito bom! Fiquei surpreso que havia mais opções no menu, como sopa e sobremesa vegana! O restaurant é amigável e acolhedor e es em uma area com vista para a geleira!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars! My husband and I make vegan the ring road and this place was such an unexpected surprise. We had both vegan carvings with salad and pommes, and share the vegan apple cake for dessert. It was amazing. The view from the table at the window was really nice.
