Brand-baude - Hohnstein

We were over New Years with 2 families and 1 room here and we really liked it! Our room was right under the roof of the restaurant and had an additional bedroom with bathroom and a large spacious room with a double bed single bed. It was also very nice that there was an additional couch with dining table and chairs where we could all sit together in the evening. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating! A very thick praise also for the kitchen!!! I had schnitzel and can only say the quality was indescribably good! Many restaurants can cut a piece! The other dishes are also highly recommended! And then the great view and the very cozy guest room with fireplace. We had spent a very nice New Year's Eve here. Thanks to all employees and operators! We will surely come back this year for a hike with friends!

What characterizes the brand building is the phenomenal view. because of this beautiful view it is worth coming! we have climbed the stages, which alone was an exhausting experience, but at the summit we then rewarded ourselves with a delicious milk coffee and a sweet acidic lens stew, which we took out on one of the tables with a view of sunshine. for softi popos there are seat cushions, the others sit on simple wooden benches and look at mountains and valleys. even though not tried, but you can also stay here wonderfully, everything is very rustic but clean. a visit here should be part of the compulsory program, whether on a light way from hohnstein or the many steps up and down. fun makes it in both cases;

The Brand-Baude is located high above the valley of Poland in the middle of the Sächsische Schweiz National Park. A beautiful hiking trail leads directly there without great differences in height, therefore also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. From the building you have a wonderful view into the heart of the National Park. We find the autumn particularly beautiful here, as the foliage coloring increases the magnificent impression by a multiple. The building is clean and the food is good. Special highlight: here are often the large choirs of the region and provide free concerts in front of the magnificent scenery.

Beautiful location with unique views to the Erzgebirge. Great menu for a building.The food tastes perfect and ingredients are processed from the region. Recommended by the Hohnsteiner herbal tea. The building character is supported by a tiled stove. This heats the fireworks perfectly.

The restaurant has a very nice location with an impressive view. Prices on the menu are comparable to those in the centre of Dresden. Beautiful nature can justify prices? My experience – I ordered a sausage. The older waitress answered – that has already been eaten – there are none. I would like to point out that at the counter there was a great deal that the offer is still up to date. The waitress replied: they see that the delivery is on the farm – if they wait 2 hours! they can have a sausage. This tone has reminded me of the GDR times where the waiter was chief and the guest of the subjects. The visit to this restaurant did not leave a good impression on me.
