Bidra med feedbackWe had a pleasant meal here. The dining area was relatively clean in some spots, but could have benefited from more frequent cleaning. This may be attributed to staffing shortages. Overall, it was a decent experience.
When I got to the window, the employee, who had a red bandana and a mohawk, seemed to be in a bad mood, and I felt like I was receiving the brunt of it. She took my card and then quickly handed it back. The first drink I received was a Dr. Pepper, but the lid wasn’t on properly, and it had spilled down the side. When I asked her for napkins to clean up the spill, she just turned away and wiped off the drink instead. The same issue happened with the chocolate frosty, as both were messy with chocolate running down the sides. I had to request a receipt, and before I could even grab napkins for myself or my frosty, she slammed the window shut in my face. I was stuck in line behind a lifted Ford, and the parking lot was otherwise empty. Once I got home, I noticed that the large fries I ordered were far from large; they were cold and I had to reheat them in my toaster oven. This experience has left me very disappointed. I haven’t eaten at Wendy's for months, but after this, I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere and will be advising others to steer clear of Wendy's for similar reasons. I plan to reach out to Wendy's on Twitter to file a complaint.
Most fast food chains rely on a business model that allows them to hire low-cost labor. Universal Basic Income (UBI) was intended to improve this model, but the outcomes have been quite the opposite. Both the Wendy's and the KFC near our house have shut down multiple times due to staffing shortages. It seems the effects of this social experiment are so surprising that the Wendy's app still accepts mobile orders for locations that have no employees. You arrive to pick up the food you ordered, only to be greeted by a sign saying the restaurant is closed.
It seems that yelling at customers at the drive-thru is acceptable at this location. They instruct everyone to pull forward, which ends up blocking other cars, and then they scold us for it. The customer service is disappointing. I would recommend going somewhere else. As someone who has been a regular customer here for years, I am quite frustrated.
Wish I took a picture because you could see how dry and over cooked my spicy chicken was. I eat a lot of the chicken sandwiches and this one was by far the worst. I took 3 bites and threw it away. Fries were okay and frosty was what you'd expect
