Bidra med feedbackGreat food and very friendly wait staff! The burger with pastrami was delicious and so we’re the nachos. My wife had the grilled cheese and said it was really good. I only got a bite of the bacon that was inside of it but it was tasty.Food: 5/5
All in all, it 's a good spot for dinner. Cool atmosphere: The dining area is connected to "Ye Olde English Inn. "I had the steak frites. It was a flavorful meal, and the fries were also great. Fresh chopped garlic was a nice touch. The meal could use a vegetable included as part of the default order.A couple of things could improve the experience. They don 't take reservations, which was too bad, especially for larger parties (ours had 8). Even though we called earlier in the day and knew exactly when we would arrive, it didn 't matter. We still had about a 40-minute wait to be seated. They could also use a kids ' menu! They had kids items, but they weren 't listed on the menu, so we had to specially ask for them. Our server was polite and as prompt as she could be, given the busyness of the evening we were there.Kid-friendliness: They could also use a kids ' menu! They had kids items, but they weren 't listed on the menu, so we had to specially ask for them.
Ye Old English Inn was a delightful weekend retreat, and the Downing Street Pour House downstairs made it even more memorable! This charming restaurant's rustic ambiance perfectly complemented the inn's old-world charm. The food was exceptional, from their signature Shepherd's Pie to the delectable Fish and Chips – each dish was just right. Not to mention the skilled bar tender who makes a smoked peach old fashioned that can't be beat. What truly stood out was the staff's warmth and attentiveness. They made excellent recommendations for both food and drinks, ensuring a fantastic dining experience every time. Downing Street Pour House's dedication to quality shone through in every aspect, from presentation to service speed.A true gem that left us with lasting memories and a desire to return. Don't miss the incredible culinary delights and positive interactions at Downing Street Pour House if you're at Ye Old English Inn!
Food was excellent and the old english hotel it as in is super cool! We were introduced to some great craft beers on tap while we were there! The Bavarian Pretzel is worth every penny, we almost got a second one but was afraid we couldn't eat our food we had ordered. Go eat here, you won't be disappointed with the ambience, service, and ultimately the great food!
Went with a group of friends. Its a very quaint venue. Food was good. Would have been great except for a few issues. 4 meals 2 great. 1 good. 1 not so good.Waygu burger exceptional.Chef salad great.Fish and fries. Not so good. The fish was over cooked to the point the ends were not edible.Steak and fries. Good. Steak was extremely rare. Too rare. It was not listed as steak tartar. The waitress only visited us a few times. She was so absent we had to go to the bar to get drink refills. My friend with the salad asked for extra dressing when he ordered. He had to stop eating his salad because he ran out of dressing and the waitress was no where to be found. My friend with the steak wanted to have it cooked a bit longer but by the time the waitress came back to our table. We had finished our meal. He ate the end and edge part of the steak and left the middle raw section. Its a shame to throw away any part of a $34.00 steak.
