Bidra med feedbackWe have eaten here before and always make it a point to return whenever we're in Anna Maria Island. We dined on Tuesday and came back for another amazing meal on Thanksgiving. On Tuesday, we had the Jager Schnitzel, and on Thanksgiving, we tried the Capern Schnitzel, which came with a delightful white wine caper and Hollandaise sauce. It was absolutely outstanding! Both times, we were served steaming hot dishes that included red cabbage and freshly made spaetzle. Everything was delicious! Don't miss this German gem in Anna Maria Island, Florida!
The pretzel appetizer was hot, salty, and absolutely delightful! Although I'm not usually a fan of mustard, their German brown mustard was so good that I could have eaten it straight from the bottle. I ordered the pork schnitzel with cream sauce and mushrooms, and it was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce was smooth, rich, and utterly delicious. I would definitely go back for more!
Fantastic staff, excellent food, and a remarkable selection of beers!
As a local real estate broker I often get asked where to go eat on Anna Maria island. I had no experience with German food and I had to ask a lot of questions which seemed to annoy the woman behind the bar. If you like German food this family seems be be authentic and passionate about what they do. Seems to also be a hangout for a very large mug beer . Cheers and I hope you enjoy your stay on AMI. I live close by and have been in the business of helping buyers and sellers for 29 years as the broker owner of Coastal Key Realty… look me up ready to help.
Food and atmosphere are authentic (I live in Austria). Waitress was very good, even though overworked. Potato salad seemed authentic from some region of Germany, but not the same as we make in Lower Austria.
