Bidra med feedbackEvery time I have been there, it was BUSY, very popular spot! Food, I love. No complaints at all. And I like their coffee! The little maple bottles are precious, but most of all, the maple syrup is incredible!
The atmosphere is nice and the people are friendly. The food is ok. I got the bacon and cheddar omelete added peppers and onions with a side of smashbrowns. The omelet was dry and I attribute that to it being cooked in a waffle iron. Zero seasoning. The salsa that comes with it doesn't mess well with it, but that's where the flavor was. The smashbrowns were nice and crispy but lacked flavor as well. My youngest daughter got chicken and waffles. No flavor there. She added hot sauce to get some kind of kick. My oldest ordered chocolate chip waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. That was nice, but overly sweet (which was expected).Be mindful of this: This is a self-service restaurant. You place your order at the counter, seat yourself, fix your own drinks (opposite of speciality coffee), pick up your own food from the counter, and clean your own table.
Disappointing.. My husband and I had really looked forward to trying Maple Street Biscuit Company but will not be back. I ordered the five and dime biscuit, and my husband ordered the retro plate. After waiting over half an hour for something we thought would only take 15 minutes, my husband went to check on our order, only to be told the health inspector had shown up . Not sure why that would delay our food. I can understand why the health inspector was there. The restaurant was filthy. Tables were dirty, the drink machine looked like it hadn 't been cleaned in months, the salt and pepper shakers were coated in, I guess syrup, and caked up, the floors and counters were dirty. When we finally received our food the biscuits were cold and hard, the bacon was greasy, the jelly was extremely runny and everything was cold. I am posting a photo of my biscuit, while the presentation is nice, it did not taste good for the reasons I listed above. Just very disappointing, and definitely will not be back.
Food: fantastic! Biscuits and gravy, super yum. That gravy has a kick to it y’all. Be prepared. Chicken biscuit sandwich for the kiddo was eaten down to the last crumb. The biscuit sandwich with apple butter sounded amazing in theory, however the apple butter was ice cold and ladled on so thick that it didn’t live up to the hype.Atmosphere: the dining area is easy and inviting. Lots of big tables for large parties.Service: a bit brisk, maybe because they are just banging out orders left and right.Random observation: The tables were super sticky. Maybe due to people loving on the maple syrup for their chicken waffles? No biggie. But I was surprised at the state of the bathrooms on the day we went. Especially after waiting what seemed like 15 mins to use the restroom after a staff member who seemed unfazed at leaving it without any toilet paper, paper towels or even flushing the toilet. I’ll chalk it up to a stressful Saturday, but it was an uncomfortable situation in an otherwise enjoyable setting.
My family and I came to the restaurant on Saturday, July 22, 2023. We have eaten at several different locations and loved it. When we walked in this particular location, we were not greeted as usual. The girl at the counter was less than friendly. She seemed reluctant to even want to take our order. We placed our order and found a seat inside. There was no coffee and we could not get anyone to help us get coffee. They were out of juice. We noticed about 25 minutes later that we did not have our food. There were others around us that had gotten there way before we did that also did not have their food. After waiting 45 minutes we noticed that people that came in behind us were getting their food. The patrons that came in before us, still without food, began to get up and go to the counter to find out what was going on. No answer from the staff. We are now awaiting food for an hour. I walked up to inquire and was treated very rudely by the girl in the front who took our order. I asked to speak with a manager and he was now taking orders at the counter. I stepped up and asked what was going on and he indicated that somehow several orders had been missed. We had waited this long and needed our food, so we waited again and finally after 1 hour and 15 minutes we got our food. The manager and staff did a very poor job and did not communicate with patrons about what was happening. This was a terrible dining experience. The owner of this location needs to seriously consider who is managing. They do not know what they are doing at all and have terrible people skills.
