Sugarmill Woods Southern Woods Country Clubs

Staff not very friendly place can be cleaner ... Had to wipe off my table to make it clean

I stopped by the pro shop at Sugarmill Woods and picked up a few items. I didn't have time to play but I could see the course was in great condition. I also stopped at Citrus National next door. It too is in great condition. Getting one membership to both clubs is an excellent deal. Homosassa is a gem of a community on Florida's Gulf coast with great golf and recreation for all ages.

The food is delicious, but the prices are quite steep. Additionally, the decor feels a bit outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s.

The golf course is in desperate need of significant renovations and care. The cart paths are so poorly maintained that driving on them is nearly impossible. There are more weeds than actual fairways.
