Villa's - Hondo

I ordered the Ladies special dish and found it to be average. The flavor of the rice was overshadowed by an overwhelming amount of cumin. The enchilada sauce had a strong spicy taste, but was decent. The beans were good. The highlight of the meal was the soft taco, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The food at this restaurant was outstanding. I didn't realize that my cousins have been coming here every weekend for the past 30 years. Amazing experience!

I tried the miga plate and it was excellent. I added cheese and pico de gallo, and it was cooked perfectly. The beans and potatoes could have used a bit more salt, but that's just a matter of personal preference and can easily be adjusted to suit your taste.

The food was lukewarm. The tea tasted old. My first and last visit here.

Excellent service great food was in other words as my kids say YUMMY ?
