Los Palenques - Honea Path

We absolutely adore this place and are thrilled to have a great Mexican restaurant in Honea Path! The taco salad with shredded chicken, tortilla soup, and chimichangas are all fantastic.

We also visited a small town with limited dining options. The food was good as always. We stopped by the church before the other churches closed. When we arrived at the restaurant, they opened the door for us and allowed us to choose our seats. Within 15 minutes, the place became crowded and it was difficult to move around. The servers had a tough time delivering food to the tables, but they still managed to serve us hot and delicious meals. I especially enjoyed their homemade chips and salsa. Despite the crowded atmosphere, we would definitely return to this restaurant.

The restaurant is alright, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. However, the food quality can be inconsistent. The prices for alcohol are decent.

I would not eat here… I don’t see how they have not been turned in …. We went out to eat here and we ordered food, margarita… We get brought the food and we ate then we got our margaritas and in the drink was a roach bug floating around in our drink. They refused to do anything about it and still made us pay for our food… Do not eat here . It is not clean it is so disgusting .. I am making a formal complaint .. I promise you go enough you will find out for your self
