Friday is BBQ plate lunch day. It runs from 10-4PM or until the run out. From $8.99 for the chicken plate plus steamed rice, salad and a drink. The combo plate $14.99 chicken and kalbi short ribs rice, salad and drink. The portions are big enough to share. Unless you don't like to share. Very popular order outside pay inside or pay inside and let them know what you want. They are always busy so plan to wait while it cooks.
The staff is extremely friendly, the selection is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.
The staff here is consistently the friendliest, making this my go-to place when I want to avoid the drive to Hilo. While the prices are slightly higher than in Hilo, the difference isn’t significant, and they always have everything I need. It’s a fantastic store for a small town, and I always enjoy my shopping experience here.
Great local grocery store! It's slightly pricier, but you won't need to drive far to get what you need.
