Egghead Cafe Honolulu

Our food was good. our food came out at different times, and therefore my daughter did not get her a pancake until we were all finished with our food. I am not sure if they send out food as it is finished, instead of food for all the table because of the COVID situation, but I found it strange. the special pancakes are nothing special. they must heat their sauces or make the sauce room temperature. they make the pancakes, pour cold syrup/ sauce on it, and it sits until the server arrives and until the time they get it, they have cold pancakes. my older daughter liked the acaicale.

The new location has many free parking and has all favorites on the menu. we had to share the Hawaiian pancake, yummy haupia sauce and it is not too sweet. strawberry shortcake pancakes had some tartness to cut the sweet one. the tiramisu pancakes are a little sweeter. also had omelettes popeye and crab, which tasty and fill. love the salat dressing for the mixed greens that comes with the Omelette dishes. we are so glad that the new location will finally be opened and returned. the staff is friendly and this is a great place for a casual brunch!

Heard lots of great things about Egghead and glad it was my first place to eat out since the pandemic restrictions. Great and friendly service to go along with delicious food. We shared the triple pancake sample and it was delish! Breakfast choices were diverse and all sounded so good. Definitely recommend and will be returning! Thank you Egghead Café!
