We were happy. $10 pitcher! meat jun and fried mandu were good, but nothing to write after home. the poke was however good from this world. we have the Mamas Special. the small piece of stone salt goes a long way to make it extra delicious. it is a tiny place and we were happy to sit on a table that was reserved an hour later.

We were recommended this restaurant by friends who have visited numerous times, and it turned out to be our last and best meal in Oahu before our flight. The kalbi was generous and juicy, while the seafood jun was massive and packed with octopus. Mama's special poke was mixed with hearty chunks of crispy salt, and the spicy ahi was perfectly seasoned and blended. We can’t wait to come back!

This is the best hidden gem for thick-cut sashimi, featuring options like hamachi, ahi, salmon, poke, kalbi, and Fleischjun. They also have a great range of happy hour drink specials from 11 AM to 7 PM! It's a small venue, so making reservations is advisable. Pro tip: try the spicy ahi tuna with some nori and spread it on rice—it's amazing!

I've walked past this place numerous times, and finally decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! It has such a warm, family-friendly atmosphere—truly a delightful vibe. The server was incredibly sweet and attentive, even as the restaurant got busier. The owner, mom, came out to help as well, which added to the welcoming feel. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and just melted in my mouth, while the meat-jun was among the best I've ever had. I can't wait to return and try more dishes! The portion sizes are impressive, and while it can get busy—meaning you might have to wait—it’s definitely worth it. Just a heads up, parking can be tricky; you’ll need to find street parking or look in the nearby neighborhood. Oh, and don’t miss out on the Strawberry Soju! It’s freshly blended and packs a nice punch.
