Bidra med feedbackWhen my daughter is at Ala Moana and in the mood for Pho, she likes to go to Mama Pho. They are located on the top floor next to CPK and Tanaka of Tokyo. When I went there with her, I found their menu very limited, and none of the traditional Vietnamese dishes that I enjoy was on the menu. However, their vermicelli with spicy beef soup was tasty. I was very disappointed in their spring rolls, because they do not even give enough lettuce for each spring roll, no mint, no basil and their Nước chấm dipping sauce is watery. I prefer Pho Saigon a block away on Kapiolani Blvd.Overall: Food: Value: Menu: limited selectionsAmbiance: Service: Parking: RATINGS RECOMMENDED ORDER:Vermicelli with spicy beef soup BChicken Pho A (my daughter’s rating “good”)Spring rolls C little veggiesWebsite: [hidden link]: [hidden link]: MiltonIn808If you would like to see more restaurant reviews, ratings of each dish, my recommended order, and the complete video, follow me.RATINGS KEY:A Really Good one of the bestB Good would order againC ok similar, nothing special weD Not very good wouldn’t orderF Terrible avoid
I got a Bánh mì to go. They put very little amount of veggies. Very disappointing.
This place was clean and the staff were friendly the food was delicious and we had a great time here it was well lit and conveniently located in the center of the mall on the top floor Ewa side of Mai Tai’s.
We were actually trying to go to another restaurant at Ala Moana however it was a minimum hour wait. Instead of waiting we decided to go here instead. I can say that I enjoyed the food here. We had a bowl of Pho along with Pork Chops and Lemongrass Chicken. All were good but the Pho was a good size bowl that I was able to share. If you are in the area and don't want to get stuck waiting at one of the restaurants I'm the area I would recommend you give this place a shot.
Wow! Roll your eyes in complete culinary savory deliciousness kind of experience. It was my first time eating from Mama Pho, I ordered the #4 lunch special, you gotta order your chicken flavored rice...don 't let the orange color turn you off, I feel the oranger the color the better the flavor. It came in a plate with a touch of flavored tofu and a small salad and my own spring rolls. More food than I anticipated and every bit delicious. My wife ordered the spicy beef pho with egg noodles, don 't forge the side of French bread to soak up all the soup. It was so good, not too spicy for my taste buds but the free garlic sauce and Sriracha can kick up the spice anti for sure. You have to order the Thai iced coffee, it was the best Vietnamese coffee I 've ever tasted, sweet from the condescend milk but the espresso gave it the perfect balance and strength. The best part of the experience was the helpful service, especially with the suggestions. Music is an international language, although I couldn 't understand the words...the beat made me dance as I enjoyed my meal.A little pricey but worth it...enjoy!
