El Puerto Del Angelos 111 - HOOD RIVER

Nice little place first time dining there tonight. Service was good, staff was helpful, nice, and courteous. Seating was outside only (I think? and it was a reasonably nice space and well kept they kept it clean. The portions were HUGE as you can see from the pictures and these were the normal sized meals. They actually have a Big Boy size I believe!! I got a combo with a enchilada, chilli relleno, and a soft taco with rice and black beans. A ton of food!! I also had a horchata which was yummy!! Food was very good and I had no issues with anything. We'll definitely go back and I recommend you give them a try!

Their bacon wrapped shrimp was very good. There was a lot of food too.

I ordered a dish that sounded amazing, but I soon discovered it was loaded with mushrooms, which I don’t like. That was my mistake for not reading the description carefully. While I was waiting for my second duck dish, they served me a plate of beautiful, fresh oysters. The service was fantastic, and the Margheritas were the best I’ve ever had!

All our expectations were surpassed! We recently ordered a Tacos pull-out bag during their weekend special of 10 tacos for $25, and we were truly impressed. They quoted a pickup time of 15 minutes, and when I arrived, they were just pulling hot tortillas out of the oven. The quality was excellent—everything was hot and flavorful. The portions were generous, with plenty of beans and rice, warm, soft tortillas, and six containers of salsa. Like many, we've placed numerous takeout orders at various restaurants throughout the city that we enjoy. I hadn’t visited Puerta de Angeles III in over a decade, but I’m so glad we decided to give it another try. In a city filled with overly large taco restaurants, Puerta de Angeles III definitely sets a high standard.
