Absolutely awesome no matter takeout or dine in. This place knows how to prepare a great meal.

Ham and collard greens melt might be the best sandwich I've ever had

Hometown Fair is located within the Ross Bridge neighborhood. Seating is limited....probably can host no more than around 25 30 comfortably. We ordered off of their lunch menu and got the short rib sandwich with brussels and their cobb salad. While I personally can use a bigger portion, I was not starving at the end of the meal lol. I guess it is good policy to leave people wanting more, right? Food was tasty overall and they definitely have some unique items or ingredients in their entrees. You will run probably at least around 30 dollars for two at lunch. We obviously caught them at a busy time even though we were the only two there at the beginning as they were expecting a large party and they were prepping catering food, but our food still came out within a reasonable amount of time. I did notice one of the chef on his phone one minute and then touching cooked food that he's serving the next to package it for catering....without washing his hands. I can't help but find that a bit gross when I consider how very dirty a phone is since that's literally something you touch all day, all the time, regardless of what you're doing. I will leave it at that, ha.
