Rock-n-roll Sushi - Hoover

Total miss in all aspects, from service to poor quality of sushi. No one greeted nor seated us. Sushi was subpar and flavorless; rice was noticeably too warm and sticky. I might go as far as saying this is the worst sushi I have ever had. Atmosphere and presentation, with the little plastic cups for the soy sauce, was tacky. All around disappointing experience. I have great appreciation for and experience in tasting various cuisines, including Japanese. If you are unable to execute an authentic sushi experience, you shouldn’t adopt it, rock n roll or not.

You may as well go and have sushi from one of the local China buffets. You would at least have more choices of other things to eat. The rice on the sushi did not taste that well, and everything else was bland. Overall, the size of the rolls was ok. The taste was just flat. There would be no reason to go out of your way to come and eat here.

I ordered the Crispy Crab Wontons as a starter and they were excellent. The two rolls I got were perfect! The VIP Roll and the Punk Rock Roll were both fantastic. I loved the strawberry on the punk rock, but I dig fruit on my sushi. One of the best rolls I've ever had. I have NO idea why this place had such low ratings, but my experience was great. The menus and restaurant had a great theme our waitress was knowledgeable and food was out in a very reasonable amount of time.

First time at this location. Service started slow but ended with great service. Food was amazing an on point. We had the sampler appetizer, volcano roll, Cajun roll fried and the thriller roll. Hated I didn’t get picks. The food was presented amazingly and the food tasted even better. Our server was was very friendly and helpful( didn’t hurt he was an Auburn fan lol). Definitely recommend this location.
