Bidra med feedbackThe quality has fallen appreciably with new property. You have cut the menu and do not even have all the elements on the shortened menu. It seems that the staff they have is unlived and weakened. Part hat has been a local favorite for years and I hope the new property is able to get it together before the reputation is ruined.
The food smells good, but as soon as I came home, my partner realized he had no cheese on his Philly. He called back the place and spoke to the manager to tell her the problem. In a minute to tell her the problem she hung on him. He didn't even get the chance to ask it to be restored. It was crazy! We had probably not eaten there in 5 years and will not go back. This person should not manage anything. Never experienced this level of bad customer service. There are too many other understores that would like our money and taste much better.
Subhut sells bread products, and they definitely won’t save any money on my account.
Got an ?Italian? sub and was supposed to be toasted and clearly was not. There was 5 pounds of oil on it, lettuce that looked like a week plus old and the flavors of the sub sucked. I will not recommend this place what so ever and doubt I?ll ever eat there again.
Now, onto the reason for this review: I was in the area this afternoon, and despite it being Labor Day, I noticed they were open, so I decided to stop in. I immediately saw that they had expanded from a small building to include the next-door space, which now serves as a spacious dining room. However, I noticed a sign that made me a bit nervous: "New Owners: 7-12-21." My first thought was that my nostalgic childhood sub shop might be gone. But then I saw that the menu looked almost identical to what I remembered. I ordered my usual steak and cheese sub along with fries and took a seat to wait. About five minutes later, the owner came out and apologized, saying her fryer was acting up, so she wasn’t sure if she could make my fries. Instead, she kindly offered me banana pudding, which I happily accepted. When I mentioned that I had forgotten to order a drink, she quickly asked what I’d like and filled it for me. At that moment, I realized that while the food has always been great here, the service had never been this impressive. A few minutes later, my sandwich arrived. Seeing it wrapped in the classic white deli paper with little grease spots at the ends brought back a wave of nostalgic feelings. I know it sounds dramatic, but I can’t help it! Everything tasted just as I remembered. The bread was soft and fluffy, the steak was seasoned perfectly, and the combination of yellow American cheese and mayo created an almost cheesy sauce. Just as I was finishing my sandwich, the cook came out with the fries they hadn’t thought they could make for me! I know they probably had already prepared them and would have had to throw them out otherwise, but it was a thoughtful gesture. In conclusion, Sub Hut is and always has been a hidden gem in my eyes. It has a very local vibe, but the new owner seems to know exactly what they're doing! I will definitely be back sooner rather than later!
