Wawa - Hopewell

Stopped in to get cigarettes, place was packed. I stood in line where Donna was working the register. My order would not ring up, she hateful said take your card out and reinsert it. After a few tries instead of canceling my order and trying again she took my cigarettes and said go to another line. I had to stand in another long line. She is very unprofessional.

I work nights and Wawa is one of few places open. I've never had bad service at a Wawa. But store #698 in Hopewell, VA is the only store I absolutely HATE going to. I avoid it if at all possible. Not because of the store, or the staff. But because of the panhandling that is allowed right by the doors! I've not once been there at night at NOT had someone ask me for money. If I go to the Temple Ave Wawa, no panhandling. The Wawa on Ironbridge Rd, no panhandling. Tonight takes the cake with a gentleman asking on the way in and on the way out. He only needed 80 cents. So I guess that made it ok to ask several times after I informed him I didn't have any cash. I don't need to be harassed for 80 cents when I go to the store. I will NEVER take my business here again. Ridiculous!

I stopped by one night and visited the restroom which was a mistake. The appliances appeared to be out of date and I don?t want to go into detail about the sanitation or lack of sanitation. The store itself isn?t the worst but I recommend avoiding the bathrooms at all costs!

Im normally a pretty easy going guy but the cashier seem to have a problem that i did know coffee had gona back up anyways she didnt have to be nasty thats all Other then that everything from my visit was great. Parking lot was alittle trashy but thats not. Wawa but customer not understanding it takes us working as a team as a community to keep our neighborhoods clean
