Fornos Grill - HORSESHOE BAY

Food was ok, but the service was awesome! Nisi (not sure about spelling) was so incredibly helpful. She saved us leftovers so we could take the kids to feed the catfish perch, turtles, and ducks after we ate. Even the big kids, mom and dad all enjoyed it!

The food was good but the margaritas and service were excellent! We were a little disappointed by the smaller lunch menu though. I ordered a seafood salad and my husband ordered the catfish, fries, and coleslaw. I loved the resteraunt's location.

Fantastic spot! Went for lunch on a warm December day and sat outside by the water. Staff is very friendly and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Jerusalem Chicken and the Cannelloni. There are beautiful black ducks in the pond by the tables, as well as some sizable catfish.

We traveled 45 minutes by boat from Kingsland two days in a row to try this restaurant. On both occasions, we were met at the door by a woman who greeted us in an unwelcoming manner; her "Can I help you?" came across more like "What do you want?" and it genuinely startled our group. On the first day, we arrived after closing time, which is understandable. However, when we returned during business hours the next day, we received the same rude and abrupt greeting. So, we decided to take our business elsewhere. It’s a shame because Forno's has the potential to be a fantastic lakeside spot.

Visited twice by boat in the last month. The service from the host and waitstaff was excellent and attentive. The drinks were cold and enjoyable. Food arrived in about 20-25 minutes, which is a reasonable wait time. Everything was fresh and at the right temperature. Our family ordered wings, fried green beans, salads, pasta, and burgers, all of which were delicious. This will definitely be a regular stop for us on Lake LBJ.
