Pour Some Sugar On Me Sweet Shoppe

Bought my girls 2 lollipops that were marked $1.50 each all over the store. When I went to check out they charged $2.75 each so I questioned it and was told the boss knows that we raised the price and no one has changed the price anywhere in the store. They said they just work there and since the boss decided to up the price without changing any signs it’s just what it is. At least you could pull the signs all over the store so your not false advertising and all the staff know.

Don't listen to the bad reviews. This place is awesome! I got my new favorite candy from there that I didn't even know existed! The hot cocoa chocolate balls are to die for! If you go in there, get those! You will not regret it! And of course the chocolate covered espresso beans were delicious as well. As were the candy rocks. The staff was friendly and this place has a huge selection of good quality candy. The price is the price people, what do you expect in a tourist town.

The store is cute but I wasn’t real happy when I loaded up with suckers that were all priced at $1.50 only to find out after she rang them up they were actually $2.75 per sucker. The sister store next door also had things priced lower but we’re about $10 more once you got it rang up. Would have been nice if the store worker would have said hey just to let you know these are actually $1.25 more than what they are marked.

We stopped in to the Pour some sugar on me shop in June, 2023. It looked like a pretty nice candy shop. The problem for us was that the wife likes taffy. But their taffy, like most items on the wall, were pre-packaged. And they are fairly small packages. Then they charge $6 for a small package with maybe 10 pieces of taffy inside. So we just passed. It's a shame, because we like to support the little guys. But the prices just seemed too high.It also seemed like the three stores in a row might be connected. There is a direct door into the sock store next door. Then from the sock store, directly into the cupcake store. So they may be one and the same, or maybe just support each other. So if you have time, maybe check them out for yourself. Maybe I just got the wrong impression.
