Scarlet Scoop Ice Cream Parlor - Houma

We couldn’t believe how rude the young man was that served us our ice cream! There was 3 of us and we asked for 3 scoops on a waffle cone and asked for a styrofoam bowl to put it in and the young man said he couldn’t give us a styrofoam bowl. He said he didn’t have the money just to give them out. I offered to pay for the bowl and he said that it wasn’t the point he wasn’t going to sell me one either! I couldn’t believe how rude he was!! 3 scoops in this weather just melted everywhere

Gave this cute place a try -2x. The First time, no friendly greeting from the male server/owner-just looked and waited to serve me. I wish the Ice cream would taste as the pictures look but it tastes watery, and lacks taste. Decided to give the 2nd time charm and no change was updated-same impression for the ice cream and lack of friendliness. I give 2 stars for the cute, indoor decor as the 40’s era.

This is a really nice local ice cream parlor. The ice cream is really delicious, and I like the variety of flavors. I would give them a 5 star, review, but the customer service could really improve.

Such a cute place!! Decided to stop for a quick sweet treat and I’m so glad I did. They had a great selection of flavors! After sampling a few I decided on the Cookie Monster and cherry flavors. Cookie Monster is a must try!!! Lots of candy and other goodies to try as well. Nice outdoor seating. The overall vintage vibe is incredible!
