Bidra med feedbackStaff was friendly and welcoming. The lard of fries was decent. The burger was good, my wife got the steak dinner special it was advertised as prime ribeye and it came out as prime rib, gray and pinkish colored. Small menu is a bit of concern. Wish they had a few more options. Restaurant atmosphere needs some tv's. Still looks like the old place with a new paint job. Still room for improvement, will be back in a few months to see if they have improved. I hope that they can make it in this economy, with so many other places with similar options it will really need to step up there game to sway people over. Fair prices
During both visits, we were fortunate to have the same waitress, Sandy, who is fantastic! She remembered us from our first visit and even asked if we wanted to order the same appetizers. Her memory is impressive! On our first trip, I was having a particularly stressful day. I was grateful that the bar was quiet, as Sandy was a bright spot in an otherwise difficult day. We had just come from my grandmother's funeral, and I was in need of a drink. Normally, I don’t drink much, but I had a screenshot of a mixed drink that I liked. Sandy was very accommodating as I showed her my phone, saying, "No problem, that’s almost like a Tom Collins. Coming right up!" My wife ordered a Bloody Mary. Since we weren’t very hungry, we opted for two appetizers. I must say, if you haven't tried the chips with crawfish queso and the wings, you are truly missing out! I wish I could recall the exact names from the menu, but they are easy to find. That queso is amazing! Now, let’s talk about those wings. I often smoke chicken wings at home, so I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur, which also means I'm quite particular about them. Here, they smoke the wings and then give them a quick fry to make them extra crispy, finishing with a sprinkle of Alumni seasoning. I typically don’t favor adding seasoning to meat after it’s been cooked, but I’ll make an exception for these wings. They are simply delicious! On our second visit, we ordered the crawfish queso again, this time bringing a friend for lunch. She had the shrimp pasta lunch, which came with a nicely sized salad. My wife and I opted for the basic cheeseburger since we knew we wouldn’t be able to finish a double patty burger. I chose a brioche bun while my wife had sourdough. That bun was impressive! Why haven’t I had burgers on brioche buns more often? It was so soft and tasty! The burger itself was made from fresh patties, not frozen ones, which imparted that wonderful homemade flavor. The only change I would make is that even though I had cheese on my burger, it seemed to have melted off, probably onto the grill. It comes with American cheese, but I requested cheddar, so I definitely needed more cheese. While the pickles were tasty, I asked for extra, and they were so thin that even with the extras, I could barely taste them. I usually require three essentials on my burgers (besides lettuce and raw onions): mayo, cheddar cheese, and lots of pickles. I’ll just adjust my order next time to ensure I get everything I want. This minor issue wouldn’t deter me from coming back. The Booster Club also features local bands regularly in the evenings and has a daily lunch special. You can call ahead to reserve a table if you have a specific spot in mind for when the bands are playing. We genuinely enjoy dining here and will definitely return—hopefully with Sandy as our waitress again!
This is my second visit to Lord of the Fries, and it's just as amazing as the first! The seasoned fries topped with cheese, BBQ sauce, and pulled pork are absolutely delicious. You definitely need to try them with the sauce! Highly recommended!
I visited during the second week they opened. Although the menu was limited, the quality of the food was excellent. My hamburger steak was delightful, and my wife really enjoyed her burger as well. I’ll definitely be returning!
Sure! Please provide the restaurant review you'd like me to rewrite.
