Burger Tex - Houston

I happened to be here. First customer of the day directly at the open. I give this place a 5 for several reasons: food is fresh, hot and made to order. The Setup menu, options and ordering process are just ahead and easy. The restaurant is structured like an old-fashioned Burger piece. The grill is located directly behind the checkout and there is a spice stand with all fastenings right. Burger, in my opinion, was not the best in the city BUT it is still a 5/5. Patty has a great taste, so do not listen to the negative reviews they are not true. Bun is top quality and what I liked most, this burger was not dripping with fat and sodium. Fries were hot, thick and crisp. Also generously cut. Price Compared to other Burger restaurants in total decent. 5/5, not disappointed, and I will be back.

I had the 6oz mushroom burger with onion rings and some wings. The burger was great with plenty of cooked mushrooms, and the toppings bar looked fresh. Now to talk about the onion rings. FANTASTIC! They were crispy with a hint of pepper in the breading. They were cooked to perfection and best of all NOT GREASY!! The wings were huge, and had great flavor. I had the BBQ and Buffalo sauces. Overall, this meal would be tough to beat. If you have the opportunity, make sure to give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Everything I have had here is excellent. They even have liquid cheese to pour over your fries till your heart's content. I'm bringing my wife here for our next date!

One of the highlights here is the extensive condiment bar, allowing you to customize your burger to your heart's content. You can choose from mayo, mustard, hot sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, pickled jalapeños, pico de gallo, and even melted cheese sauce! They also provide disposable gloves for those who prefer not to share utensils. This time, I opted for the onion rings, which were sizable and had a thick coating. They tasted great, but personally, I found them a bit too bready for my liking. The fries, on the other hand, were excellent—thick-cut and crispy, seasoned perfectly with a delightful sprinkling of salt. In addition to burgers, they also serve fried fish and shrimp, along with a variety of lunch plates that include ribeyes, T-bones, pork chops, and chicken! Definitely worth checking out!

I've always had a great meal here. The burgers are delicious and perfectly cooked. The grilled chicken is flavorful and tender. The shrimp can be fried on occasion, but when it's done well, you'll really enjoy it. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality. It's a popular spot for workers on their lunch breaks, but be sure to check the hours, as they close early.
