Esther's Cajun Café Soul Food

Had about 60 of us Retired folks from Central Freight Lines a little reunion. Their food is just like Moma would have cooked it. Excellent Service and they treated us like FamilyFood: 5/5

OMG mama Esther's is off the chain. Who would've thought that her oxtails and yams will be better than your own mommas! They also have a peach tea... ENOUGH SAID.. it is a little pricey, so will not have weekly visits... LOL. (But twice a month) Oh yeahFood: 5/5

Esther’s doesn’t take phone orders, so I placed a Door Dash order for a later time somehow the order was ready about 90 minutes early. But the staff kindly packaged everything “family style” as I requested rather than as individual meals I really appreciated that and I put everything into a low oven to keep warm for a while. Despite the wait, the food was fantastic! The fried chicken wasn’t greasy, and the greens and red beans were the best that any of the group had ever had. The mac and cheese and cornbread were also very good. I will absolutely order from Esther’s again delicious!

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting queen ?? Esther in the flesh -along with her family! Lonnie and Moe were not only very friendly, they also had great conversation while I dined in. I would strongly suggest everything on the menu but I’ve showcased some of my personal favorites ?️? #boudin #houston #oldfashion

First time here. Came with coworkers who suggested it.Nice place, clean and open. Food served cafeteria style. Lots of good options. Looked and smelled good. The staff was friendly and fast. Beverages are self serve. I got the meatloaf served on rice with okra and mac n cheese.You get nice size portions, I could not finish mine. You should not leave hungry. Food was good, well seasoned and hot.I am sure I will be back again some day soon.
