Luby's - Houston

I don't like the tip screen that can confuse the payee. I saw a cashier add her tip to a senior citizen credit card without him understanding what she was doing. She tried that method on me and I asked her to show me the screen and she immediately told me that she didn't have to go to that particular screen. She took advantage of this little old man. SMH

Compared to other Luby’s locations, I’ve had better. The food is decent and fresh majority of the time. I’ve eaten at this location multiple times and got food poisoning once, but this can happen anywhere and it was probably due to food that was sitting out too long. The only issue with this location is that the servers seem very unhappy and are unfriendly and rude. Some workers have even displayed altercations in front of customers, which was unprofessional and made the experience of my family eating there uncomfortable. There is also a waitress (don’t know if she still works there) who dresses in these extremely tight spandex pants with a lot of junk in the trunk and exaggerates wiping tables. Very inappropriate and disrespectful to my parents. If you’ve eaten there in the past two years, you’ll know who I’m talking about

Clean restaurant. The food was presented in an attractive manner while being fresh and hot. The staff in the serving line was friendly accurate, I wasn't missing any items. Team member Ashley was very friendly, fast efficient in packaging my order to go and in helping other customers in the dining room. Very glad that their still open!

For being end of the night customers we still got a good selection of hot food and desserts. The place was clean and well taken care of by staff. We can always count on Friendly and attentive staff and an overall good Luby’s experience.

I have not ate at this Lubys in years. The food was good and the staff was attentive. Nice for a cafeteria style restaurant. I got the chicken, rice, broccoli, roll, and jello.
