Nawab's Briyani House - Houston

Great good but no one goes here for the ambiance. Order ahead and take it to go. We love the Chicken 65 and the Gobi Manchurian. My spouse loves the Chicken Tika Masala, but prepare yourself it's a bit on the sweet side. Also when they say spicy they mean it.

I wanted to order the chicken dum biryani for a long but it’s far from my place. so today i was near by and i order the biryani. i simply loved it 5/5. will definitely order again.

This is a takeout place. They do have a dining area... but it 's a bit sad. This feels like eating in a low rent employee break room. We sat at a laminate table missing a chunk of veneer on the outside corner (exposing the underlying MDF/particle board .While the counter service was unremarkable (neither good nor bad , the food was pretty good! The chicken Tikka gravy (sauce was excellent. The chicken itself... was a bit dry and tough. Everything is served for carry out styrofoam plates, plastic utensils, and even a plastic to go container.I would order carry out from this place (if I was nearby . I do not recommend eating, there. They have bottled water (and drinks? for sale. If not for the wonderful flavor of the gravy/sauce... I wouldn 't give it another chance. Ah, and there are even signs pointing to the trash can as implied, we disposed of our own trash (felt sad so much waste/environmental damage . The only thing missing was a sign stating that employees must wash their hands.

Ordered 2 chicken biriyanis and a chicken 65 on a Sunday afternoon. Was very good. The recommendation came from a Hyderabadi friend so I trusted her opinion. Did not disappoint. Pro tip: definitely get biriyani over the weekend and not during the week

Amazing food .. must try is Apollo fish and goat biryani. They also have veg and non veg puffs available. Must try.
