Stray Horse - Houston

The JW Marriott used to have a nice restaurant on floor 2. They've converted that to a meeting room, so the current restaurant is next to the bar on the first floor and the well-used escalator. No place for a client meeting, but if you're in the hotel and just need to sit at a table and be served lunch or dinner from a somewhat limited menu, it works.

Hold your money right here. So lovely you can spend it all

Busy, loud, fun. High energy, and good service. Drinks are typical pricing for high end hotel. Old fashioned $18

The ease with which you can access the restaurant and the food options makes stray horse a must go while you are here I have dined a few different occasions and each time the food hit the spot

Breakfast very expensive but very good. Service was not great. Was not served water until end of meal. No pepper in pepper shaker. I think they were very short staffed that day, in fairness. $30 to valet park in the hotel and hotel won't validate the parking.
