Allstar Live House - Hualien City

Had a very good time with great Chinese, English and Taiwanese singing. It was the owner's birthday, so she gave us free tequila and cake! The bar was a chilled place with an American feeling. You don't play music every night so you might want to check if you go for music. The drinks were quite expensive for English taste from 150 dollars for a beer and 300 for a cocktail.

Worst bar ever Don’t go there!!!! Worst barkeeeper I have ever met. Beer for 5-7€. Special offers is fake. They want tourist money and you get nothing for that. It’s a trap

The boss cracks lady and this place was very welcoming for us and my friends. Unpretentious and sound as a pound, this place is and if you are a Taiwanese or alien, you will be greeted with open arms.

What an experience, I would read about the woman who leads this place elsewhere, so I had to see her in action for me. She is truly ubiquitous, she is welcome there when people arrive, control them to a table and the best drinks, she constantly observes and manages the staff, she makes the accounts, observes the kitchen, monitors the music adjust light show, negotiates the bills with the hunters. Nothing comes past her, I tried to buy a half of beer and she has negotiated me up to 3/4 to say that she operates a tight ship doesn't even come close. All that said the beer was cold, fresh tasting, served with a smile and the chips were the best I had in Taiwan, so we can award the prizes and the music was excellent.
