We were so lucky to be seated in the bar at 4:00 without a reservation. Fridays you really must have a reservation. Beautiful drive... everything at the restaurant was wonderful. Almost glad we were sitting in the bar instead of the dining room becausethe dining room was super crowded. We had bacon wrapped chestnuts and old fashions. The best! Then we both ordered the fishfry which was super good as well. Where's the trip especially on these wonderful fall days

Rustic atmosphere with the most excellent food including German selections. Service was superb even with a full house. Make a reservation. Loved our food and service.
